Bridge Rehabilitation & Replacement FAU Route 1453 (CERMAK RD) Over IHB RR / Gardner Rd, 25th Ave. and Addison creek

ARK Engineering provided Phase III construction inspection services for this project. The contract consists of improvement of Cermak Rd Over IHB RR & Gardner Rd, 25th Ave & Addison Creek. The scope included replacement of the deck and approach slabs on Cermak Road for the bridges over IHB RR/Gardner Road (S.N. 016-0631) and 25th Avenue (S.N. 016-0632), superstructure and substructure repairs, increase of clearance over the railroad tracks, full slab and superstructure replacement with widening over the Addison Creek bridge (S.N. 016-0633), HMA pavement connector for bridge approach, PCC pavement connector for bridge approach, pedestrian accommodations including sidewalk on the north and south side, lighting, drainage improvements, and guardrail replacement.
